The World Bank's view: The Thai economy is "gradually" recovering

On Wednesday, the World Bank released its latest Thailand Economic Monitor. It projects that the Thai economy will expand by 2.4 percent in 2024, up from 1.9 percent last year (2023). The World Bank report also looks ahead to 2025, forecasting that Thailand's economic growth is likely to pick up to 2.8 percent, up slightly from this year. Mr. Fabrizio Zarcone, World Bank Country Manager for Thailand, explained that the reason why the Thai economy will expand better in the last 6 months of this year and next year is due to the increase in the 2025 budget framework and the acceleration of government budget disbursement this year and after being significantly delayed in the first half of the year. แทงบอลยูโร
